Getting Ready

My son is flying to the Carribean in one month, specifically to the Dominican Republic, so I have a renewed interest in the area. This blog will look at his experiences and the experiences of others in the area, as well as news and commentary on life and events there. I have several good friends from Santo Domingo, some going back to the early eighties when I was living in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Cesar and Mona Abreu were stationed at Fort Bragg at the time and were our next door neighbors.
